How Impactful Are Grit, I-Deals, and the Glass Ceiling on Subjective Career Success?

Due to the ever-changing organizational and societal conditions that make reliance on external definitions of success unworkable or undesirable, subjective career has remained a critical topic in careers studies. Among drivers success, research identified personality traits job resources as essential sources. Grit, form trait, together with I-deals (job resource) perceptions employees’ glass ceiling can provide new insights regarding factors, which heighten success. Therefore, main purpose study is investigate direct indirect effect grit each dimension via ceiling. Surveys from 221 female security forces both private public sector Oyo state, Nigeria, were collected data was analyzed using smartPLS. The results showed positively related I-deals, satisfaction, but not happiness, psychological wellbeing, work engagement. mediated relationship between success’ dimensions, while did not. This able infer trait (grit) much relate how women perceive existence their organization.
